Myofascial Release is a safe and very effective hands-on technique that involves applying gentle sustained pressure into the Myofascial connective tissue restrictions to eliminate pain and restore motion. By taking the information we see during a brief postural analysis, and the information we feel (where you are feeling pain), we can root out the source of even years old dysfunctional pain. The sensations of this can range from a very gentle release, to significant and deep. While it can be very relaxing, this is not the best option for someone who expects a “spa like” massage.

No, but for those looking for relief from pain and also a little comfort with traditional massage, choose Myofascial Release Massage Blend. This often includes scented oils, warm towels, and hot stones to complement the myofascial work.

First, as always, check with your surgeon. However, I am trained and completely confident in working with people 2-3 days after most surgical procedures, including c-sections. Typically we would start with removing post-surgical edema via lymphatic drainage, and after your tissues are well healed (typically around 6-8 weeks) we can address the newly formed scar tissue to prevent it from spreading and creating havac in your body.

It is customary to tip 20-25% for massage and bodywork services. Though appreciated - it is not expected.
